&lt;p&gt;Speaking from the experience of having been a teenage girl in high school - oh yes I did flighty things or things that seem silly - but really its symptomatic at any age or gender for that matter. I also know many motivated and capable teenage girls in high school. The pregnancy pact is not reasonable or rational -- true.  Unfortunately, their actions have consequences a little more long term than the average situation.&lt;/p&gt;
