MLB.com, the Washington Nationals, and Children's National Medical Center have partnered on another campaign. At the July 13 game, fans will be asked to text the word NATS to 90999. $5 will go to help kids with diabetes. Anyone anywhere can donate between now and July 31.

MSH- Great Post. Like most my age, I'm connected to my mobile phone, and am excited about the future that mobile brings.

I did want to clarify a few things on the mobile donations part. Currently, you can only donate in $5 or $10 increments, the carriers have/will not approve a single $25 donation. However, the donor can donate up to $25 per campaign, $100 per shortcode.

The Mobile Giving Foundation is facilitating the relationship between the carriers. Currently, the only Mobile Application Service provider approved to handle mobile donations is mGive by Mobile Accord.
